Recovery from Eating Disorders is a Journey

Recovery is not about being perfect.

Recovery is about continuing to move forward and showing up when you have set backs.

Recovery Takes Courage

Dealing with urges, food fears, discouragement and regaining passion for life can feel overwhelming.

It may leave you feeling frustrated, angry, fearful or ready to give up on yourself.

But don’t give up yet.

Figuring out your next step is important to your recovery.

If you are looking for diets, pre-packaged meals, or a magic pill, I am not for you.

It may seem like your eating disorder is all about the food. But food isn’t the problem.

Disordered eating is a coping mechanism – whether you refuse food to feel in control, binge for comfort, or purge to punish yourself.

I don’t tell you what to eat. I don’t offer rules or limits.

Instead I help you find your own answers.

We work together to identify what is holding you back and help you develop new skills and ways of looking at things so you can move forward and let go of your fears.

A recovery coach can be the key ingredient to your
continued progress.

Are you serious about making some changes in your life?

No two people are a like in their recovery.

I can help you define where you are now and where you want to go.

Through Eating Disorder Recovery and Life Coaching, I can help you articulate your recovery goals and aspirations, so that you can clarify your choices and create an action plan. Coaching offers you a customized approach that keeps you focused on what’s most important to you.

You will get the direction, support, feedback and structure you need to not only stay on track in your recovery process, but also thrive in life.

Ultimately as a coach, I can help you develop a clearer sense of what is important to you and how you want to live your life beyond recovery.

Together we can work towards achieving your goals.

Can you imagine finally loving your reflection?

Just Imagine going to the mirror and loving the person you see.

Imagine being able to focus on what you want to accomplish for the day. Being grateful for your ability to think clearly. Together we can work to make this a reality.

Are you ready to build a life beyond your fears?

Hi, I’m Heather

Eating Disorder Recovery & Life Coach.

I work with individuals who have been in the grips of an eating disorder and want to build a life beyond it.

You may have recently decided you are ready to move forward or been in recovery for a while. Either way, I have been where you are.

I know recovery is not easy and there are plenty of stumbling blocks to trip you up along the way. Figuring out your next step can be challenging.

Do any of these questions ring true?

  • Do I feel stuck as to what to do next?
  • Do I want to explore all the opportunities that are waiting for me?
  • Am I ready to change, but I am not sure how to make it happen?
  • How do I move on from this?

These questions often arise when there is a mind shift to recovery.

You are not alone.

A coach can inspire you to look inside, see the potential you possess and help you chart a new course.
